HOW DOES INTELLISKIN WORK?

IntelliSkin is a HumanTechnology®  company and the inventor of Smart Compression that retrains your posture and helps relieve back pain. Products with our patented PostureCue® Technology work as an Intelligent Second Skin and cue your body’s natural ability to support itself in the most efficient manner by improving posture and alignment. The Fletch on the back of our products is the visual representation of this revolutionary technology.
We interact with the outside world through our skin. Depending on the location, there are 20,000 to 80,000 nerve receptors per square inch of skin that allow us to instantly sense and react to such stimuli as pressure, touch, and temperature.
These nerve endings send specific cues to the brain, which cause tightened muscles to relax and the opposing underused muscles to simultaneously contract and tone. IntelliSkin Smart Compression apparel helps create a constant flow of information back and forth from the nerve receptors in the skin to the brain.

CAN KIDS WEAR INTELLISKIN?

WHAT SIZE INTELLISKIN SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend using our size charts located on each product page to achieve your best fit. Because our products are technical, we recommend measuring yourself to ensure the most accurate size. For instance, if your shoulders are broad, you may need to size up. If you are in between sizes we also recommend that you size up.

WHEN SHOULD I WEAR MY INTELLISKIN?

Anytime! Working out, recovering from working out, working at your desk, traveling, or any other activity of daily life. We can always benefit from having good posture.

HOW LONG SHOULD I WEAR MY INTELLISKIN?

IntelliSkin retrains your posture and helps relieve back pain. Everyone’s posture fitness is different. Start by wearing our PostureCue® apparel for a few hours, using the signal of muscle fatigue in the upper back as a sign you have worn it long enough. As you become more posture fit, you will want to increase the duration of use. This gradual progression allows your body to make a smooth transition towards maintaining and holding optimal posture for longer periods of time. Our Essential, AirStream, and CueLite® styles are designed to be worn all day.

POSTURECUE™ LEVELS
The Foundation series are our most therapeutic posture shirts with the highest level of posture cue muscular feedback.
The Daily & Essential Tee are intended to be worn as an everyday undershirt, with the benefits of mid-level PostureCue® Technology.
The Essential Bra is the first bra to support your front with the natural strength of your back by providing a gentle cueing of your postural muscles and provides all-day comfort.
Our Recovery zipper products are built for those who prefer easy zipper access or have mobility challenges. The locking zipper mechanism allows adjustment of the neckline to whichever height you prefer.
The Foundation Long Sleeve provides Smart Compression in a long sleeved style. It is made from antimicrobial CoolCue® fabric, which infuses jade stone fibers to reduce skin surface temperatures. The ideal base layer for all outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, surfing, running, and hiking.
CueLite® Technology employs interior silicone panels, which lay directly against your skin offering a gentle postural reminder. Our softest fabric has been paired with our newest technology to create the first everyday posture shirt.
Our patented, revolutionary 3/4 Tights & Hip Alignment Shorts are the only tights & shorts designed to enhance movement and performance by improving hip and pelvic mobility and lower body alignment.

WHEN WILL I SEE IMPROVEMENTS IN MY POSTURE?

From the first time you put on IntelliSkin, you will immediately experience the PostureCue® effect. Once you are aware of your posture, you can improve your posture. Muscle memory is created simply by wearing IntelliSkin and performing regular activities, training, or traveling, so your new posture will be reinforced by frequent usage. Physical changes will be most noticeable after wearing IntelliSkin daily for 60-90 days. Be patient, as your body needs time to adapt to the improved posture position.

IS THERE ANYONE WHO SHOULD NOT WEAR INTELLISKIN?

People with serious medical conditions or physical limitations should consult a physician before using IntelliSkin.
  

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY INTELLISKIN?

Machine wash in the gentle cycle, using cold water, hang dry.

HOW IS INTELLISKIN DIFFERENT FROM A BRACE?

IntelliSkin is distinctly and uniquely different from a traditional brace in that it retrains your body to align and support itself more functionally by re-educating weak, imbalanced, dysfunctional muscles to function at a higher level of efficiency with no wires or braces. 
This level of efficiency is highly desirable for athletic endeavors. Traditional braces and support systems mechanically restrict the body by focusing on wrapping and limiting function and does not allow the body to engage in normal function. 
However, therapeutically, IntelliSkin utilizes the concept of Kinesio taping which facilitates the body's natural healing process by providing support and stability while allowing free range of motion thereby assisting the body's muscular system to build strength and maintain function.  
For those with chronic pain and injury, this allows IntelliSkin to be worn throughout the day during normal function versus traditional bracing, which limits or restricts normal function. 

CAN I USE MY FSA / HSA CARDS ON INTELLISKIN.NET?

In general, items for medical use may be reimbursed from your spending account if the item is for “diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease, or payments for treatments affecting any structure or function of the body.” Some items may be reimbursed from your spending account only if recommended by a physician or provider.
While we do not currently accept FSA or HSA cards directly on intelliskin.net, you can now submit your receipt to your plan for reimbursement based on its current guidelines. You may use a credit card or debit card to pay for your IntelliSkin items during checkout, then be sure to save your receipt for submission to your insurance carrier.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Orders shipped within the Continental US are sent via USPS First Class Mail and normally take 5-7 business days from the time your order is processed in our distribution center.

INTELLISKIN SALE GUIDELINES

IntelliSkin sales apply to all full priced items and are not applicable to final few sale items. Only one discount can be applied on products and cannot be stacked with multiple discount codes.

RETURNS

IntelliSkin accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged merchandise for a full refund minus shipping or exchange within 14 days of original order arrival date. Upon receipt of returned products, IntelliSkin reserves the right to deny the return if the products do not meet policy requirements. 
- All FINAL SALE products ARE NOT eligible for return or exchange
- If your product is returned within 14 days of receiving the product, the product is eligible for a full refund
- If your product is returned after 14 days and before 30 days of receiving the product, the product is eligible for store credit ONLY
- ONE EXCHANGE per product
- You will need print the return form and shipping label

- Orders shipped outside of the USA are responsible for all shipping costs

Refunds will be processed in the original form of payment within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned product. Please note that it may take up to an additional 10 days for the refund to show up on your account statement depending on your credit issuer's processing time. 
Return Shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

INSTRUCTIONS

For all returns, please follow the instructions below:
  1. Confirm your products are in returnable condition; unworn, all tags attached with original packaging
  2. Contact us here. Provide order number, and reason for return or exchange.
  3. Return/Exchange Form, instructions to return, and a shipping label will be provided.
  4. Include form in package and attach shipping label to the outside.
  5. Once your return is received, please allow 5-7 business days for processing and up to an additional 10 days based on your credit issuer for your refund to appear in your account.

In doing so we have decided to take extra precautions and scale down our fulfillment facility for the total duration of the emergency, as advised by our home state https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/Immunization/ncov2019.aspx. All Intelliskin employees are being paid their salary in full and their positions are safeguarded.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Orders shipping to USA and Internationally can be made through our online website and are processed in our distribution center.  International shipments may take up to 4 weeks for delivery during Covid. The customer is responsible for all shipping, tax and duty charges, plus any other local governmental charges that may be imposed, as well as any return/exchange product costs. (Please be sure to follow the IntelliSkin sizing charts and if you have any sizing questions, contact us here prior to placing your order.) 
Tax and/or Duty may be collected by your country and/or region and is not included in the shipping price.
